HI,

Great to see the fine shots of SN 2014J im M82 in Ursa Major.

I have posted my image on my website: Variable Star Nights

I think the bitterly cold temperature (-12C) improved the DSLR image, taken on a 28cm SCT (C11).

All these images are brilliant. I have one question: has anyone seen the supernova simply through the eyepiece? If so, can we have the details?

Recent reports suggest the supernova is 10.7 magnitude and brightening.

Aubrey.
