Tried again tonight on my 250mm reflector but poor compared to refractor views

Hopefully if skies stay clear will try again this week.

I'm trying again tonight, John5. (Good Friday). We have clear skies again in Dublin. I would be interesting for you, John, to set up both your scopes to compare which one is better on Mars. Definitely get your reflector on Tegmine. You should see all 3 components at 250X. Don't worry about the colours for now.

Had to check Tegmine! Aubrey. Have re- collimated,was a little out.

Clear skies in Cork so far tonight so will take your advice and try both scopes hopefully.
