Nice one Ronan.
Saw them from Shannon,
low down but bright.
Lets hope for a few more big displays before
the seasons end.

I had these about 4am on the morning of the 2nd. I was in Newcastleton, on the Scottish/English border, and stumbled from my tent to be confronted with it. It was absolutely astonishing....almost surreal.

Meade 16" Lightbridge
Tal 6" Newtonian
Meade LXD75 6" Newtonian
Tal 4" Refractor
Panoptic and Nagler eyepieces.
