I had these about 4am on the morning of the 2nd. I was in Newcastleton, on the Scottish/English border, and stumbled from my tent to be confronted with it. It was absolutely astonishing....almost surreal.

They are a strange phinomina,and rarely seen from Ireland.....clear skies that is!
