2. Amalgamation of the Dublin Institute of Advanced Studies (DIAS) with UCD or TCD
The Group notes that DIAS operates under legislation dating from the 1940’s. The Group
concludes that it should be amalgamated with either University College Dublin (UCD) or
Trinity College Dublin (TCD) to achieve efficiency savings.
Poor DIAS. If that goes ahead hopefully it will be positive for Dunsink.
