Hi all

On Saturday evening these two asteroids will be just 10 arc minutes apart in south of zeta in Virgo, easily visible in binoculars as darkness falls, and the closest than they have ever been observed before, Vesta will be magnitude +6.2 with Ceres +7.4.

Because Virgo will be low in the sky I was wondering if anyone would like to take a journey out to the Sugarloaf on Saturday to view the event?

Getting there for 9.30-10.00 should give sufficient time to get ready.

Weather permitting, of course.

Hi Paul. Saturday is not good for me -sorry. Too much musical responsibilities in my church at the weekend. But I am very interested in going to Sandymount on Friday night. I am planning to put up a separate post for that later in the week.

hi i would,nt mind getting out on saturday have a cg5 mount that i got recently that i would like a few pointers with .
hopefully kids and the mrs will play ball so to speak on saturday .clear skies too
