Sorry to read that you're once again under the weather - metaphorically and literally! 

If there is a meet-up planned for 11th October you can count me in. 

And on that note, many thanks for the nice comment. It's easy to be enthusiastic about amateur astronomy because of people like you and the other active members of the IFAS. 

The monthly observational sessions at the Sugar Loaf (as well as the regular forum postings of all things astronomical) make the hobby very accessible for newcomers like me. I'm sure such initiatives have also inspired many others to get out their scope and look up at the night sky.

There are still a group from Meetup still going down.

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.
