Sugarloaf Observing on Friday 20th Dec

And unfortunately it is highly likely I won't be at the Sugarloaf at all.
I appear to have a slight bad feeling at my throat.
I am taking everything for it.
After all who wants to be ill for Christmas?
Lots of hot drinks too.

By the way, Darren, reflectors are better at coping with dew that all other telescopes. All you need do is to keep looking at your eyepieces and finders.

Recently I gave all my eyepieces a thorough clean. A few of them needed it. So I'm ready for action again at some stage.

Sorry to read you're feeling under the weather Aubrey. Hopefully, you feel better soon. Funny, I noticed how the eyepieces, and most notably the Telrad, suffered more from the dew than the primary mirror did when out observing in cold weather.
