Is anyone interested in observing at the Glencullen cemetery car park?

The weather for Saturday looks good as well so we could meet up then if Friday falls through.

I have added a the car park to the observing sites list under the Main Menu.

I'm a bit rusty on where it is.

Hello Aubrey,

To get to Glencullen, take the road to Kilternan and then turn right on the R116 which will take you to Glencullen.
The car park is very close to Johnnie Foxes. It is the car park for St Patrick's church.

Do you reckon we can observe Jupiter, Saturn and Mars from Glencullen?

It's been a few years since I was last there but we should be able to see Jupiter and Saturn. Not sure about the eastern horizon.

I remember the occultation of Saturn from Glencullen.
I must check and see when that was.
