It was great meeting up with the rest of you, Darren, Michael and Sean on Friday night even if was only for an hour long with a nice chat.
I'm sorry Paul wasn't with us.
He is always welcome to join us because of his many pearls of wisdom.
Sean was very welcome along with his extremely well behaved son Luke.
By the way, I reckon the reason we are having so many cloudy nights right now is because last Monday I purchased a very small but necessary part for the controlling arm on my William Optics refractor. I bought 4 push-in fasteners from J G Engineering who are in Inchicore.
So sorry about that, folks. Even if we buy something infinitely small as a push-in fastener, we are guaranteed a load of overcast skies one after another. Lol!!
Best regards from Aubrey.

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

Our weekly non-observing sessions are beginning to turn into weekly TV and film reviews. Last week, it was the turn of Plan 9 from Outer Space, and this week was the turn of Millennium! I've never spent as much time chatting about and watching sci-fi!
I wonder what show will be the topic of conversation next Friday, because by the sounds of it we will have another few weeks of cloudy skies - thanks Aubrey
But seriously, it is good to meet-up even if the scopes stay in the car, and it was great to see Sean again, and meet his nice son Luke.
Until next Friday, clear skies to all..even you Finbarr
Darren.
