Just for the benefit of those travelling from afar, please just bear in mind:
Give yourself plenty of time for your journey no matter what route. The Guards are on a special mission this weekend, checking traffic etc, so expect some delays on busy out-of Dublin routes in particular.
Un-related, but if coming via the Galway/Sligo (N4/N6)route, you will experience tailbacks from Kilcock/Enfield due to motorway works, and then sluggish travel from Enfield to Clonard, this being normal in Friday rush hour.
Between Kilbeggan and Tullamore, there will be minor delays until 6pm as the Council lay pipes for road works. there will be a Stop-Go (lights) in operation.
Within the town itself, there are no road works, but expect the usual Friday evening rush. If you get lost, ring any member, but the secretary is posting his number here (Seanie on 087 6825910) - call or text if you need info on anything.
We don't know of any other travel woes to be wary of, but if anyone knows of cautions on any route please post details here.
And on your journey, take your time, relax, and we will see you all safe and sound in Annaharvey!
