Board Changes

Hi folks,

Earlier tonight myself and John Flannery spent a couple of hours reorganising the layout of the boards into what we hope is a more user friendly and intuitive layout. This will help resolve some problems of duplication, incorrectly categorised threads and introduce some new forums that people have asked for.

No posts have been deleted[1] in this change, but there has been some reorganisation of where they are. Here are the main changes:

'Astronomical Excursions', 'Arcturus', 'Club News' and 'Club Matters' are now Announcements and Club News.

A Beginners forum has been set up.

A Celestial events section has been set up to be moderated by John Flannery. This is for announcing current or soon to be observable astronomical events.

'Atmospheric Phenomena' and 'Did any one else see .....' have been merged into Observation Reports.

Speciality Forums have been set up for 'History of Astronomy' and 'Stellar Media'.

Bugs, Suggestions and Feedback replaced 'Bugs and Suggestions', 'Feedback' and 'Forum Suggestions'

Not at all, Al forgot to edit the permissions to prevent anonymous posting .... am double checking everything now. Sad to see how spam infested the internet has gotten these days

And done ... that should put an end to that carry on!
