the next meeting of Tullamore Astronomical Society will be on Tuesday next, March 1st at 8pm:
Frank Concannon, TAS - The Markree Observatory & Its Catalogue
It will be on in the Order of Malta Training Room, Tanyrad, Tullamore. All are welcome, refreshments afterwards, and light observing from the adjoining car park - weather permitting, so bring your scopes and bino's!
Frank has actually been working on the Markree Catalogue (from Sligo's observatory) of sorts lately. He was doing it as a hobby, and we asked to give us a lecture about what he has been doing in his project - should be interesting!
