time before the big bang?

If there was no time before the Big Bang then the Big Bang was made in no time at all.

Only time will tell how it all ends.

So if there was time before the Big Bang, could this mean that there was matter aswell?

If there was matter, then before the Big Bang there could have been a previous Universe which instead of expanding (like our Universe) it might have been collapsing.

I believe that i read something simlar somwhere not so long ago...........

I think it basically theorised that OUR universe is the result of a previous universe collapsing at the end of it's life.

Makes the mind boggle.
