Finding Uranus was created by ftodonoghue
Folks as mentioned in the podcast Uranus is easy to see and find at the moment.

I managed to see it for the first time tonight with 10X50's from my urban yard with large bright moon. I have attaced two finder charts. It makes a nice triangle with lambda aquarius and another star above lambda

TBH,

I suppose there was a little colour but, nothing spectacular. Maybe without the moon in the sky or with bigger bins. I will have a gander tonight with the 80mm if its clear to see if colour is obvious

I you get a chance to see it in a scope, the colour is more apparent as is the tiny disk, I thought that neptune had a striking colour visually, a strong dark blue.
It was also great to compare the size differances between uranus and neptune, gives a great sence of distance as we know they are about the same size.
