Sun has been very quiet for some time now.
However, spaceweather.com now reports that sunspot 978 has rolled into view and seems to be alot of activity taking place. For more images and details see www.spaceweather.com

I wonder does our current bad weather today is as a result of this active sunspot... remember that theory that everytime we are due some activity, for possible aurorae, we get rained/stormed/sleeted/hailed/hurricaned out of it?

Will be to arrive where we started
