Hi
Nice image Keith.
I observed Comet Lulin with the 70mm refractor (Pronto) at 25x. Quickly changing cloud conditions with clearer areas that still had some thin cloud. The coma is clearly elongated with the central area bright. Did not estimate magnitude, as under such weather conditions estimates are unreliable.
The faint tail was seen towards the south-east.
My site is pretty light polluted from street lights.

Keith
Lovely shot.
There was a clear patch here last night, north west dublin. It lasted from 6:30 to ~21:30. I set up waited for saturn and lulin to rise. While waiting I got some great views of M42, M45, M35. Then some views of Saturn, looking like the symbol for 'empty set'. As I scanned down to see Lulin (rising from a neighbours bush) I think I saw it just as the cloud came in and wiped out the view. I was literally allowing my eye to focus on it as it went out. Not absolutely sure I saw it.
Hopefully there will be more chances. I'm glad you were lucky enough.
Steve

Nice one, Keith!
I still haven't seen this blasted ice ball. First it was too dim and too low to punch through Drogheda's light bloom, and now that it's achieved a decent altitude all I have is clouds.....

Jeez, the clouds are getting us all down here Maybe tonight will be better, I believe it's closest to Earth tonight?
Seanie, I could only get an 80 second exposure, 135mm lens at f4, ISO 1600, Canon 400D.
