I stand corrected - the lights all the way at junctions on the new M6 ARE FCO's, but I think their angle of tilt is what got me thinking they were semi FCO's (when seen at night). Yesterday, travelling on it, I made a point of looking up, and I saw them to be FCO's. Either they were changed since I made a note of them months ago, or it the angle of tilt I mentioned.

So eh... did anyone ever manage to get a high res picture of good moroway lighting? I could really do with an image for an article if anyone has one!

Giz a mo... and I'll take a few snaps of some local off-ramp lighting that's pretty good - The Fassaroe exit off the N11 has been built with full cut-off lights.

Back shortly...

Right, I'm back again... after a short detour for supper!

I've pasted up some images on my website of the full cut-off lights on the Fassaroe interchange / off-ramps near Bray. I reckon these are well designed and worth highlighting. Take a look at:

PS - You'll also find some useful stuff on good lighting design on the Phillip's (no relation) website.

Well I think the lighting on Bray Sea Front is good, as it is sent downwards by its design,to the walking area and not skywards.
No photo as yet but I could take one tomorrow and post it here.

I noticed similiar lighting up in Carlingford Co Louth, again on the seafront perhaps someone live near there and would take a photo?
