Welcome on board w.

I've often been out for only 30 min. with no observing aids.
As a result, I've spotted maybe a dozen or more satelites going any which way.
One other cool thing is to watch two (or more) sats making for one another and willing them to collide! :twisted: :wink:

Thanks Paul. Yeah I was out back in August at about 2 or 3 in the morning and was amazed at the amount of them I saw! Was the first while in a few years that I was out looking at the sky for any amount of time. Have been getting back into it since.

By the way, I wrote to TAS some years back when I was doing a Junior Cert Science project. Whoever wrote back was very helpful if I remember correct!

Can i just ask is that time 1125 not a bit late for seeing the NOSS pairs or triplets, are they very high altiitude sattelites to catch the Sun?, have seen myself also on several occasions.

thanks for posting that link! For some reason, I always had it in my head that it was the NOAA, but its the NOSS! No wonder I couldn't find it before!
