New Observatory Shed

Seeing as there is a lot of expensive gear in that "shed" as you call it I'm wondering; Did you ask your house insurance company to insure it and, if so, what was their attitude, and the cost ?

Its under the contents insurance at the minute but I will have to give them full details of all the gear so I do not know what the full price will be. I am still waiting on my H16 camera coming back to get its serial number. Only the scope and cables are there. All the portable stuff like cameras get brought in. With the weight of this scope its at more risk from repeated set up.
I nearly dropped it one very cold night with numb fingers and ice on the ground.
