It's a terrible addiction this isn't it? When I look at stuff I took a couple of years ago which I thought was real cool at the time - well it looks a bit rubbish now, but then one becomes a perfectionist and realises there's still a way to go. And it just takes time - loads of it!


A perfect elucidation of the truth! My early stuff is abysmal - but I still appreciate it for what it was. But of course, the addiction is perfection. And that costs dearly - in time, money, patience, nerves, personal hygiene... :D

Chances are we'll never reach astroimaging nirvana - but hey, it's a grand trip :D

Here we are, greyscales with a touch more sharpening added - I think that's about the most it'll take! And left at a bigger size so it won't fit in here....

Paul - that's very good. Sharpening is a tricky one alright but you've done well.
