New sunspot arriving was created by TrevorDurity
Hey all,
Just took a look outside about 6 or so and spotted this coming around the eastern limb. Hope it hangs around a bit. Been ages since there was a spot on the Sun.

Thanks guys. Yeah it was quite hard to get enough angle Earth in the shot. Needed a huge tripod extension
Hopefully this is a sign that disc activity is on the increase.

That’s quite a telescope you have, is that Gliese 581 with the new so called “Earth II†in the same frame?
