Hi,
Just to let you know the ISS is passing over 2-3 times every night for the next week, so this is a good opportunity to have a look at it. The site below will tell you the fly over times, just create an account there with your long/lat,.

I sure am going to have a go, the sky is quite hazy, but hopefully that will go as the sun goes down. I'd imagine you are going to go for it as well.

Nope.
I'm heading down to Bunratty to take a few 'Arty' shots of the pass
& listen out for any transmissions on the scanner.

Good look with that one frank look forward to seeing the results
let me know how you get on. I would like to catch iss with the 14" scope some time but tracking it might be a problem is there some sort of softwear out there that will alow you to track something moving so fast.

:P just saw the ISS through the obsessionator, its solar panels were clearly visible, the space station took on a S shape !!, class, even Dawn got a look, she was very impressed.!
saw this one by chance, I didn't see it on heavens above for some reason.

Carl, look up "satellite tracker" on the web, it allows ASCOM complient goto scopes to track satellites, very nifty.
