Observing filters for eyepieces was created by Keith g
Hi all, I'm just looking for some advice on using filters for visual observation through the eyepiece of 1.25 inch size. I see that there are some UHC filters from baader, astronimik and lumicon to name but a few.
I would use these for observing nebulae, have any of you used these before? Any advice regarding whether they are worth the price and usefulness appreciated.
Thanks,
Keith.

Hi Keith
This should provide all the information you need.

I have used a O-III in the past and found it really useful for planetaries, especially from my light polluted area.
