Dave,
There is a Heavy Duty Azimuth Adjuster upgrade going on astromart for $135negotiable for the AP1200, its worth $158, might be worth going for.

Cheers for that Dave - because the mount was the new production run, all the latest upgrades come as standard. Including the heavy duty azimuth adjuster. And boy, is it heavy duty...

Non-included items that I would be interested in (if anyone sees them) is the polar scope, any mounting plates, piers, tripods and counterweights. I couldn't afford all the bits and pieces in one go

And by the way, if anyone sees any ads for a weightlifter's belt, that's my next purchase:

l-r: Conterweight shaft, ETx70, 1200 Dec axis

Cheers - and really appreciate you letting me know about the adjuster Dave :D

You know Dave McD, you might have just pipped Bill_H as the soup cauldren capital now! Poor Bill, he'll have to sell Leslie and the kids in order to compete with that mount!!!

Nope, can't compete with that mount, Ive sold the family and dumped the soup pot in the wheelie bin  But I made enough money out of Lesley and the kids to buy a bigger mount
