Celestron prototype scope - let battle commence

I guess Meade aren't doing an 18" RCX so if Celestron pitch it in at a price close to the 16"RCX then folks might take the plunge, spend the extra few bob and get 2" more apeture...

But then of course, Celestron do a 20" astrograph (Dall-Kirkham) - I don't think Meade do anything bigger than 16"... But once you get into the plus 16" range, you might be looking at an OGS or RCOS OTA instead of the bulk market providers...

And of course, Meade are Guinness, Celestron are Beamish and RCOS/OGS/Dream Scopes are champagne...
