Would be worth your while to fly out there and post the stuff back to yourself here in Ireland ,I was out there 2yrs ago and bought 2 Senco Nail guns for $500 ,The SAME ones were 1600 Euro here !!!
Also took home 20lbs of free nails no prob with customs

No need to fly over there.
Over the past month, I've bought several expensive items (naglers etc) using astromart from the US.
Shipping was fine, customs, well we'll say no more.
as long as things are well packed, it will should be ok.

cosmos is going to seem like a class reunion :)

that website looks imteresting, I'd go for the 1/12 wave mirror, its worth the extra money, I'd bet looking at saturn/jupiter under high mag and good seeing, that you'll see a differance, small but there.
