Gogarty Scholarship for Space Studies

The Gogarty Scholarship was formally launched last night in “The Oliver St John Gogarty” pub, Temple Bar, Dublin. The evening was hosted very energetically by local space journalist and broadcaster, Mr. Leo Enright.

Joycean scholar, Senator David Norris, gave an exuberant speech of enthusiastic welcome to this innovative scholarship backed by Dublin business man Martin Keane.

Associate Professor of Space Science Dr Hugh Hill from the International Space University also spoke warmly about this educational opportunity.

I was there last weekend and watched the Milky Way setting on the Atlantic.
