Goodness me Brendan, you've produced another beautiful image for us to view. There are times when I struggle to see the resemblance of the shape that the object is named after; but no trouble here. It really does look like a heart. It's a lovely image to reflect on during these times. I particularly like how you've managed to capture / bring out the brightness at the center of the heart - nice touch!
Clear skies,
Darren.

Thanks Darren/Aubrey for the comments.
"There are times when I struggle to see the resemblance of the shape that the object is named after"......I can well understand that with the Soul Nebula, Darren........ It looks nothing like a Soul
I think that one was only named thus because of its proximity to this one....making Heart & Soul images possible with a wide field of view.

Lololol!
Sure what does a soul look like?
We know we all have one, but is it not invisible?
Thumbs up for your recent images, Brendan.
You're only spoiling us all rotten!
What will you give us next?
Kind regards,
Aubrey.

Thanks Aubrey............you are very kind. When I look on the likes of FaceBook it is the very colourful images that win the day - always and ever. I have looked at some very popular ones and in truth, all I see are blobs of colour....without much detail.
But I will continue as I have done in the past - striving to bring out the detail and then think about colour as a secondary trait. So, even though we are not talking about true colours, I don't think I will be accused of overdoing the image colours.
I live in hope for some clear skies here(to start a new image) but not looking good for a while yet. So, yes, I may have to pick another old one and try improve on it....and keep myself occupied some. As yet....no plan in place though.
Brendan.
