Hello All,
There was a break in the cloud in Dundrum enabling me to take this image of the ISS transiting the Sun. The image is four frames with the ISS in them stacked in Pixinsight.

Michael.

Hello Michael.

Thank you for your excellent image!

But please, is there any way you could inform the rest of us about the next ISS transit?
I've only ever seen observed one of these.
And that was some time ago in 2013 - some 10 years ago.
So please, please, please give us the heads-up for this next spectacular event.

Best regards from Aubrey.

Hi Aubrey,

I use transit-finder.com to get the transits.
The next one for  Dundrum is on the 20th August at 11AM. That one will not be visible from Ranelagh.

Michael.

Excellent to hear from you, Michael.
Gosh! Those ISS solar transits are coming thick and fast.
Thank you for informing me about the next one.
But how extraordinary that the next one is visible in Dundum and not Ranelagh.
It's about time I checked out transit-finder.com

Thank you, Michael.

Clear skies from Aubrey.
