What are the lines going bottom left to top right about, looks like you took it in a rainstorm. :wink:

Dave - I have to give you top marks on observation. :D

I really don't know what they are a result of. It could be the way the DSI software stacks the images or how it subtracts the dark frames. At this stage I'm concentrating on learning how the mount operates. But I intend to try an take individual FITS images, stack them in Registax, subtract the darks and then see what happens. If the diagonal artifacts disappear, then I know its the Meade software. If they don't go, I'll need to get the thinking cap on.

And I'll stick with the SKylux for now - if it can get M51 and M13, then its ok in my books :D Who needs one of these anyway...
