Dave, sorry the reply is late No, i did'nt use a 'darkframe' i've only just found out about using these, and don't fully know how to do it yet, but I slightly processed it on the pc. I tried to image Venus & Jupiter through my 8" SCT, but i agree, they are quite small in size, bettter get a webcam! I have a 2x barlow.

Albert, Glad you noticed , I was delighted to see it in the Astronomy.com Newsletter last week. It's good to see a pic of your own
