James,
likewise with the others, welcome aboard!
Indeed, your site is a good one for the photo's. And you've done all this without even knowing about the huge amateur base here too!!
You'll find that there are many astronomers here who also use the Canon 300D for their astrophotography. I, myself, am currently looking for 2 - 1 for me, and 1 for my dad.
Does Amazon still have that special offer for $600?
Seanie.

James,
Excellent pictures and observing diary. I presently hold the position of Chairman of Kerry Astronomy club and it is great to see others in the county "Doing it in the Dark".
We are mainly based in and around Tralee with a growing group in Killearny. Still Sneem is a good drive away.
We are having our first Christmas social gathering in place of the usual monthly meeting on the 14th of December. See our website, (or next weeks Kerry's Eye) for details. We will bring our telescopes, there will be hot food and spot prizes and if it is clear we will try to catch the end of the Geminids.
The event will be held in Keane's bar and resturant on the Dingle road, (exactly 4 miles from the Aquadome) everyone is welcome.
Maybe you might make the trip? Is it ok if I put a link on the Club's site to your Diary?
