What type of webcam is it??? if its a philips toucam or SPC900 there are any different sites! theres always ebay...or astrobuysell.com/uk for second hand!

Hi -- another newbie question !!

wouldn't planetary images be very small if using a webcam --- as there's no eyepiece to magnify the image

..or am I missing something ??

yes but you can use a barlow lense to make them bigger
