Hi everyone

Here is Jane Houston Jones two minute "What's Up for" September so have a listen and do look up when the sky is clear.

What a lot of anniversary's are coming up soon, the Voyager Missions mentioned on Jane's video and next month October 4th we have 50 years since the beginning of space exploration.

Gonzaga College Dublin is the place to be that night, as we have Dr John Mason giving a talk about the future of space exploration " The Next Giant Leap for Mankind"
that is combined with a celebration of Space in Art which is mostly artwork from children in Dublin schools showing us how they see it. 7pm All welcome free event. A South Dublin AS / IAS joint event.

Cassini will be ten years from its launch on October 15th, what a voyage that is. Last night Cassini came within 1000 miles of Iapetus ,one of Saturn's most interesting moons.
Details will be here saturn.jpl.nasa.gov/home/index.cfm

We will be in Dunsink on Monday September 17th, 8pm. I hope to see many of you there for our first talk of the season. There is plenty of parking and it is not that far from Dublin.
