Hi Fermidox.
I always greatly enjoyed partial solar eclipses even back in the 1970's & 1980's.
I certainly wish you clear skies for next Monday over Limerick. : cheer:

Aubrey.

I have arrived in Madras and have parked the RV in Madras County Fairgrounds.
Clear skies but plenty of wildfire smoke all around.
The crowds have yet to clog up the road network.......
Will start cleaning the camera lens in the morning!

Managed to snap a couple of shots with the 60D from Madras Oregon:
The last Northern Hemisphere total eclipse until August 2024 :(
Well worth the expense of going there, and impossible to reproduce the full experience of totality with a snapshot...

Hi,

Great to see you saw the eclipse and got nice photos.

Now back from the extended expedition.

Sara, myself and the Becksonian Group (including Angela & Terry) had a great view under a totally clear sky at Guernsey State Park in Wyoming.

I was worried about the weather the day and night before, as the cloud forecast was very iffy. Was relieved that I did not have to do Plan B.

Did some quick and dirty processing of a couple of my eclipse pictures. See Variable Star Nights .
