A recently discovered comet which will reach peak brightness September/October 2024. Could be very good OR could be another disappointment, as you know comets are unpredictable. One to keep an eye.

The naming convention is discovered in 2023, it was the 3rd one discovered in the first two weeks of January. Tsuchinshan is mandarian for "Purple Mountain" - the comet was first discovered by the Purple Mountain Observatory in Nanjing then independently discovered by The Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System (ATLAS) in South Africa.
