Hi all
December brings the moon calling on five planets, getting up close and presenting some potential imaging or sketching opportunities.
Venus: On the 9th, the cesecent moon, 26 six days old, will be 4 degrees south of Venus.
Saturn: The 17th sees a five day old moon residing 3 degrees south of the planet.
Neptune: The first quarter moon drifts, north-east of Neptune on the nights of 18 & 19th.
Jupiter: A 10-11 day old moon floats 4 degrees past the giant on the nights of 22nd & 23rd.
Uranus: The 23rd sees the 11 day old moon hovering in the vicinty of the pale blue planet.
This would make an interesting photographic mosaic.
