Here's some more:

Me, Anthony & Kyriaki - guess who is who. Eclipse day morning (5 hrs before the event):

... and the Oscar for worst supporting actor goes to the fat guy in black jeans and white sneakers pretending to be an astrophotographer.

What an eclipse can do to people, Part II. (Aftershocks of the eclipse)

With many promises to meet up again for the next one.

ok, I translate for you.
The lyrics were composed by these 2 guys in one day.
The title is "Hymn to the Eclipse"

I am an astronomer,
I am about to view the eclipse in the sky.
Then I see a pretty girl,
She is winking at me from a side street!
Then my mind gets blurred,
I approach her and talk to her.
Damn! The eclipse has come to an end.
Now I will have to wait until ’88! *
I have come to the furthest point of Greece
To see the magical corona of the Sun,
But I am a victim of love,
I gently place the corona of love on her hair.

(*the next total eclipse visible from Greece will be in 2088)

Hi,

Re: Eclipse 2008 and future eclipses

With the weather prospects in Russia, it is perhaps best to view this as holiday to Russia with the eclipse as a bonus.

By the way, is anybody on these boards going to see the eclipse in China in 2008?

Or even, anybody made plans for 2009 & 2010?

John

John,

I certainly plan to pursue the Chinese eclipse in 2009 and I am sure I also speak for Vaggeli and his lady. In fact, I suspect a good portion of the greek mafia group going to Novo should probably resurface eleven months later in China.
