football field of rain forest destroyed every 5
minutes

Proves my point.
We have planet-wide and universe-wide (Thanks to HST,Google etc.) awareness nowadays.
Megalithic man was barely aware of what was beyond the horizon.

"Don't look at the Sun God or he will strike you blind" was their "science".

(Intellectually they were the same as us.)

P.S.
The picture is beautiful.

I hope the lights are not permanent floodlights.

That building has stood in starlight for thousands of years without the need for THAT barbaric modern invention being inflicted on it.

He was more aware than we will ever be
to give you just one simple example, and
that is the ability to predict the weather with
greater certainty than any weather satellite
by looking at the behaviour of the sourounding
wildlife. This skill is dead and buried,so it depends
on what you consider aware.

oh wise man why is the universe so perfect?ah because symmetry loves herself.

Well i guess that the best you can hope for is that
one day it may just dawn on you that HST and
Google earth do not constitute awareness in the
spiritual sense but fit the catagory of material
awareness which i'd imagine someone that
resorts to slagging people off like yourself would
be an expert on.I have met a lot of astronomers
in the 22 years involved in this wonderfull subject
both amature and professional and the one thing that
they all seem to have in common is that sense of
awe.You see because material awareness has blinded
your real senses you like most of humanity have lost
the ability to sense that awe and hence you will continue
to lower yourself by resorting to slagging people like me
who you don't agree with off.

oh wise man why is the universe so perfect?ah because symmetry loves herself.
