It is with great pleasure that I get to announce that Paul Evans (Irish Astronomical Association) is the winner for August!


The Sun on 23rd August 2014 taken through a Solarscope 80 with a Lumix G6 camera.

Thanks guys, that was taken at the start of a very fun evening down at the American Folk Park near Omagh through Brian Beesley's Solarscope 60 (not as I said an 80). Same setup as the one I put in for the Calendar. It seems to be very easy to get good single shot images using the combination of Brian's scope and my Lumix G6 camera.
