Well deserved Frank. Well worth the cost of the holiday and all those images of Jupiter to boot

Thanks lads.
I wonder if I could be so bold as to provide a link to a slightly larger version of the image?
I don't think the size does it justice and you really can't make out Mercury in it anyway.

I agree, go for it Frank, its a stunner!

Unfortunately, as multiple images are hosted in the one thread each month on these boards, not eeryone has broadband to benefit fully from the photographerss best intentions. Some really great work is submitted monthly, some of it worthy of almost A3-sized viewing!

I agree, and like you said before, what's the point in having a huge image if all you can do is pan around it?
The rules about entry size for the competition are a good idea and sets a level playing field for everyone.
Maybe we could give the winner the option of supplying a link to a larger of higher resolution image so the most can be got out of looking at it?
...just a thought.

Why don't you just provide a link here to the full-size version Frank? I'd like to see a larger version.

That option is always there, there's nothing stopping anyone adding links to 3032 X 2064 digital images on the web! Just as long as they are not tagged into posts as images on these boards. Usually, I only get a standard medium-sized image of the set defined in the rules of the competition. If (like you had done Frank) supplied a larger image link, then sure, let the world see it in its full glory! ;)

So, Frank, where's that link? :)
