August Competition Theme - Perseus-Cassiopeia-Auriga (2007) was created by Seanie_Morris
Your target for entry into August's competition will be on The Constellations of Perseus, Cassiopeia, and Auriga. This trident of constellations cover the one general area of sky, and at this time of year after midnight are very much in focus due to the Perseids Meteor Shower. Your image can be either one, or a combination shot covering two or more of thse constellations. Does not include deep sky objects or (God forbid) planets - just the stars.
Closing Date: Friday August 31st.
Entries are to be sent to photo_competition@irishastronomy.org and should be hosted off-site, and linked to that provider. If in doubt regarding what to do, please read the Rules & Guidelines .
PLEASE make all images no larger than 800 X 800 pixels in size. Those that are larger will be requested to be made smaller, or failure to reply will result in omission from the competition.
Clear Skies & Good Luck!
