Here is my image from later last night (0:30bst).

From further South they were lower in the sky and they were nowhere as bright at 1:00 when I got out of town.

There was no way I could see them from ground level by that time, I had to be up on the first floor of the house to see them at all by then.
Its clearing up nicely here, its worth having a look again tonight.
The third image looks more spooky the more I look at it, I can clearly see a face in it and its looking at the bright area hidden behind the "normal" clouds, all those years of making shapes out of clouds is paying off

Beautiful shots Dave!
We really have been getting some beatiful night skies with really spectacular cloud displays recently. I've been treated to Sun pillars, Sun dogs, Noctilucents all week. None of them caught on camera ('cause I don't got one). More burden for my SSIAs I guess.

Hi all, This is my first post! Great images of the NLCs everyone! I am a member of the IAA but I can often be found on the EAAS BB. Here is an animation consisting of 285 frames over a period of 30mins between 12 and 12:30 on the 15th June. Hope you like it! I have included 2 links, the first is the 'lo-def' version and the second is for those with quick (windows) computers
