Spectacular NLC display this morning

Lovely images there Ray! Saw this in full glory myself between 02:40hrs and 02:50hrs on my way home from work. One thing I particularly noticed was that at that time, from my location, there was one very prominent 'bar', where as your photo has two (to the left, almost perpendicular to the waves). The entire display itself was magnificent. This year seems to be a very good one for NLC's.

Love them, in particular the third image with the little waning moon sitting on the horizon, between the trees. Just lovely

Yeah that one with the crescent moon in it is nice. Missed the display myself looks like it was 'another' good one!

Hi, was on the web last night looking at the Noctilucent cloud homepage when decided to take a peek outside at 12.34am. Low and behold a lovely display of Noctilucent Clouds. Very bright display aswell as again tonight, this is first time i have seen them in two years as living in Galway city had its constraints. But since moving to sligo things have changed
