Hi Bart,

Sorted it out over the weekend. Had no problems accessing the site from my desktop - laptop was the problem.

A couple of weeks ago I was cleaning up my "favourites" on my laptop and inadvertantly deleted the IFAS link.

As I was using the desktop over the weekend I discovered that the shortcut I created on my laptop was www.irishastronomy.NET -- change it to .ORG and have no problems.

Just as an aside to this thread. Remember how a lot of people were complaining how they would have to log back in to make a post even if they already seemed to be logged in.

That seems to have been resolved since the Server crash a week or so ago....for me at any rate.

Well, why not! It is quite commonplace for webmasters to buy the extra domain extensions (.net, .info, etc) and have them point to the main host.

It's the same site. It points to the same DB and redirects here. It's very handy when moving servers and it's saved us a quite a few times at this stage.
