IFAS Events Calendar for Member Clubs - Please Use It!

Hi All,

Just your friendly IFAS Secretary coming in to say "Why aren't you using the IFAS Calendar?!"

Ah no, seriously, it is available to individuals and member club secretaries to promote their club's astronomy event in whatever form it is. It is easy to use (once you know how) but if anyone needs help or requires their venue to be added to the venue list for easy inclusion, simply PM me or Darragh Sherwin ('darragh') and we'll be happy to help and guide you.

The more events that are listed on it, the better IFAS looks in its dedicated service to member clubs and individuals in the hobby. This is, after all, Ireland's only dedicated Astronomy portal of such information!

Great idea, but didn't seem to save either venue or event for me

Hi,

I wonder if it is an issue with the venue and the maps, I've turned off the maps service.
Can someone try it again and see if they are still getting issues?
