Skywatcher 18" Truss Tube Dobs, finally! was created by StephenK
Finally, they have been launched in UK and Ireland.
The Skywatcher Stargate 450P Truss Tube Dobsonian.
Featuring a patented light weight mirror design, the whole scope comes in at just 50kg.
Set up time is estimated to be approx 20 minutes, depending on the person.
We will be watching everyone's pricing closely on these (as we do with all products), but to begin with, we have ducked in below the rrp , and dont forget, that includes delivery anywhere in Ireland.
We never charge for delivering scopes to our customers here

wow, at last. I have the skywatcher calendar and have been looking at them for months wondering if they would ever see the light !
Am I right in thinking this is just the start of the range, a 20" is to follow next year along with go to ?

It is a lot of scope for the money we think.
Rumour has it, the 20" is in the range too, and its reasonable to believe goto will follow down the line, though dont quote us on that :bricks:
