Hi all,
I sure some of you must have been out observing last night, it wad cold and windy, but there was very little haze. I got out the 20" scope and decided to put on the QHYCCD5L2 camera and get some video of the Moon,
The original videos are razor sharp and show alot of detail, I had to compress the hell out of them for youtube, but you get the idea anyway, here they are

and a higher magnification but fuzzier image is at

Dont know how/why youtube fuzzied this one, the original is over 3.5GB in size, and is nice !
Cant wait to try this again.

Thanks, I think next time I try the Barlow or power mate and see how high I can push the magnification. Anyone with a webcam or phone with a half decent camera could give this a go

Dave

You got some really good frames there, have you used Deep Sky Stacker to make an image based on frames?
