Partial Lunar Eclipse 19th Nov was created by Fermidox
Partial phase begins at 7.18am from Limerick but Moonset is at 8.05 almost an hour before maximum eclipse... and the forecast is "cloudy and misty on Thursday night and still largely dry with just the odd patch of light rain and drizzle... staying dry and cloudy for Friday". Doesn't look great.

Would it not be a picturesque setting to see the half-eclipsed moon hanging over the horizon Aubrey? I can't recall many with that alignment before.
I'm thinking though with the mountains to my SW I'm going to be hard pressed to see much of it even with clear skies...

While there is a definite darkening in the sky... Too many low lying clouds are preventing me from seeing the Moon this morning
