There appears to be very large storm activity on Saturn at the moment. Anyone who has a chance to image should have a look-its big. See the thread below from Ice in Space.

I had heard of it but hadnt seen a pic of it, it a massive!!
Given the size, I hope it is visually easy to see.
I wonder does it stand out as much as the images suggest ?

Saturn has exhibited this kind of behaviour before... well, maybe not on the extreme visual as this is. Remember Saturn's Great White Spot in the eearly 90's?

yea, well before my time in terms of having a decent scope to view it with.
There seems to be a long history of white storms on the planet
